WWARN provides high-quality data resources, customised research tools and services, and a global platform for exchanging scientific and public health information on malaria drug resistance.

WWARN Regional Centres play a central role in building capacity for collecting and disseminating high-quality intelligence on malaria drug resistance, and tailoring our approach to meet the needs and challenges of local endemic communities and stakeholders.

We currently maintain three regional centres in: Asia, East Africa and West Africa. Central Africa is supported by the West and East African Regional Centres; South America is supported by a liaison scientist based in São Paulo, Brazil.

Our centres are building sustainable regional scientific networks to bridge gaps between the research community and malaria policy makers.
